On The Venom Line

Many of the snakes that our volunteers rescue are placed on the venom line at Biotoxins Laboratories so that they can produce venom for research and important medicines like antivenom. Snakes on this venom line are well cared for and there are specimens that are still in excellent health after more than 20 years of producing venom at this facility.

Some of the other facilities we have placed snakes at include Texas A&M University, the University of Singapore and various zoos and educational centers. If your professional facility can offer a guaranteed permanent home, a high standard of husbandry and good veterinary care, and you are using venomous snakes in education or research, you can get on the adoption list.
