Who Ya Gonna Call?
Snake Getters Volunteer Removal List

Need a full property sweep by a qualified herpetologist? Call Snake Removal at 1-800-339-9470 if you think there's a snake hiding somewhere around your house and you want it removed. This is a professional service and there is a fee. The free volunteer service providers are listed below, but they will only do emergency snake pickups and do not have time to do property sweeps for snakes that may possibly be somewhere in or around your property.

This is an ever-growing list of individuals and facilities that will do volunteer emergency snake removal. Please only telephone the private individuals on this list at home if you have a live, uninjured snake in an enclosed location. If you have a snake question, you can find the answer here or call one of the zoos or public facilities on the list. If you do not know where the snake is right now but you need it removed from your property, please call Snake Removal at 1-800-339-9470. If you cannot find a reptile relocator on this list in your area, Melissa Kaplan's list of reptile rescuers may be of help. If you would like to volunteer to have your contact information listed, please email us.

DISCLAIMER: This web page is meant only as a helpful free resource to the community, listing individuals and facilities that have volunteered to help the public with snake removals and relocations. carmichr I run a nature center and we are pretty well known in the Chicago area and have been involved with many snake rescues/adoption (which Rich Crowly from the Chicago Herp. Society does a great job). Although we would like to be involved, we do charge a fee for our education programs (actually, it is an honorarium to help support our collection of wildlife). We do not charge fees for rescues.
